We met my mom and dad in Whitefish, Montana for a couple of terrific dinners. Food was ok, but company was outstanding.
My parents were on an America by Rail trip along with neighbors and good friends Maxine and Larry. They took a train from DC to Chicago to Salt Lake City and then by bus they toured Salt Lake City, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and had come further north to see Glacier National Park. They had a great trip and we scheduled our travels to coincide with a stay here outside of Glacier.
I didn’t take very many pictures, but here is a view of the flowers in front of their hotel – the Grouse Mountain Lodge.
And here is a picture of the four of us – dad, mom, me and Lee – inside their room.![]()
We joined the group for their farewell dinner and after dinner Lee and I volunteered to take group photos with all the cameras. Here is the group trying to get organized – glad that wasn’t my job!![]()
They had a great time and it sure was fun to see them! Tomorrow they leave and we will be off to see Glacier National Park.
